1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Elite Amateur Sports website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Tournament Registration
By registering a team for a tournament, you agree to the following:
- All information provided during registration is accurate and complete
- You are authorized to register on behalf of the team
- Your team will abide by all tournament rules and regulations
- Players meet the age and eligibility requirements for the registered division
3. Payments and Refunds
Tournament registration requires a deposit to secure your team's spot. The following payment terms apply:
- Deposits are due at the time of registration
- Remaining balances must be paid by the deadline specified for each tournament
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to mike@eliteamsports.com
- Refund eligibility and amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis and depend on the timing of the request relative to the tournament date
4. Code of Conduct
All participants, coaches, and spectators are expected to:
- Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
- Treat all players, coaches, officials, and staff with respect
- Follow all facility rules and regulations
- Refrain from abusive language or unsportsmanlike behavior
Elite Amateur Sports reserves the right to remove any individual or team from a tournament for violations of this code of conduct without refund.
5. Assumption of Risk
Hockey is a physical sport that carries inherent risks of injury. By registering for and participating in our tournaments, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Elite Amateur Sports is not liable for injuries sustained during tournament play.
6. Stay-to-Play Policy
Some tournaments may have a stay-to-play policy requiring teams traveling from outside a specified radius to book accommodations through our designated hotel partners. Details are provided on each tournament's registration page.
7. Tournament Changes
Elite Amateur Sports reserves the right to modify tournament schedules, formats, venues, or divisions as needed. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate any changes to registered teams in a timely manner.
8. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
9. Limitation of Liability
Elite Amateur Sports shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, tournament participation, or any events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
