*snap* Where did the time go?

Is it just me or is it getting chilly? October is one of our craziest months. Each weekend Elite Amateur Sports hosts one portion of our famous Boo Series, where we have girl’s and boy’s hockey tournaments all month. This weekend we kick off with the Midgets and High School divisions, Girls divisions, as well as our first AAU hockey tournament of the season. We love having the new young players experiencing their first tournament. It is a special event we love to share with all the new and experienced families.

It is very easy to get wrapped up in a tournament weekend. Early in the season, it is all about learning about one’s team and each of their dynamics. Be sure as an adult to take a step back and observe your son or daughter fall in love with a game they can play for the rest of their lives. It is tough, we know. There are games, activities, dinners, maybe visiting families, local entertainment, and so much that you get to Sunday and realize, the weekend is already over. Hopefully it is capped off with a banner and some medals.

Just like a tournament weekend, the season will fly by as well. Mites turn to Midgets and you look back on fun events. Maybe the Boo series was your child’s introduction to hockey tournaments. Kid’s live for tournament weekends. It’s a full season in 3 days. If you are looking for a great tournament this season, there is a good chance we have an option for you. All tournaments have a 4 game minimum.
