Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving
We here at Elite Amateur Sports have had an amazing stretch of tournaments and are ready for a small break. Whether or not your team is taking a break this Thanksgiving season we would like to wish everyone a safe holiday weekend.
Thanksgiving is typically a time for family. If you are off of hockey for the weekend, we hope you get spend time not only with your immediate family, but some of your extended family as well. Over the course of the past three years, spending time with extended family has been difficult, and this holiday season will be as close to normal as it has been in that span of time.
If you happen to be playing somewhere across the country, you will get to spend some more time with your hockey family. Teams are hitting the halfway point in the season and may need a good reason to have a fun “family” function. It is important to have fun while on the road, but it should be done responsibly. With all of the smiles we have seen this year, there have also been a few times where a little too much fun is had.
In order for everyone to enjoy themselves at a hockey tournament, a lot of things are set in place. Being respectful to rink workers, tournament workers, hotel workers, and opposing teams always keeps everyone in a great mood. There have been instances of some misbehavior in the past that have soured some trips, and we hope that everyone out there can have some good safe fun. There is no point in ruining a season over a silly mistake.
Please have an enjoyable and safe Thanksgiving weekend wherever you may be from all of us at EAS!
