The Greatest Hockey Tournament

The Stanley Cup Finals. Biased or not, it is the greatest Summer Hockey Tournament in the world. Watching the best of the best compete for the ultimate prize and the only proper way to deadlift the prettiest 35-pound weight in the world, the Stanley Cup. Each year we watch to see who will become an unexpected hero, what player gets to win for the first time, and what superstar can put the team on his back to produce ultimate glory.

Last year with the bubble, it was unlike anything we had ever seen, and for many it was a calling to their former playing days. When we all think back to fond memories in hockey, many times, a special tournament is recalled. Nothing was better than packing up the car with baited anticipation to get to the hotel and be away from home for a few days and focus on one thing, Hockey. What’s for dinner? Whatever helps me play better. What’s going on after the game? Pool time with your teammates. Want to kill some time? Watch a few hockey games happening around the rink and scout out the competition. Nothing is better than that, and that is what the NHL bubble encapsulated.
