What Makes Hockey Tournaments So Special

For those who have made their rounds as a player or parent of our wonderful game, everyone always looks forward to one thing at the beginning of the season. “When is our first out of town tournament?”. It has never really mattered if you were a Mite or a Midget, a player, coach, or parent, it is always the highlight of a hockey season to get everyone together in a cool location to play some hockey. Hockey tournaments are an amazing way to help create bonds that may never be broken. Kids create friends that last a lifetime, parents create bonds that last beyond their own child’s playing career. We all tune in to watch the greatest tournament of them all, the Stanley Cup Finals.

Years ago, it was the hours of “Shinny” hockey, now throughout hotels across the country, its kids playing linked up games like Fortnite, “Chel”, AmongUs and other digital getaways that keep the kids competitive juices flowing, while adhering to the hotel rules. Parents always find their way pool-side to share stories of their past, and hopes for the future. After years of experience, there is always the parent who knows the best burger joint in town. Coaches may get to visit places that help replay these memories, or maybe even get to visit their alma mater. There is always something magical about hockey trips. It's always amazing walking into a cool old barn, a brand new facility, and even times, getting to play somewhere you see on TV.

Elite Amateur Sports looks to provide the most wholesome tournament experience. Using incredible facilities that take their safety measures above and beyond, and by providing hotel options that make everyone feel like they are at home, while on the road. We strive to improve every aspect of our game, so that our tournament patrons may enjoy every minute of theirs. Always feel free to reach out if you have any questions, and remember to sign up for our newsletter emails to be the first in the know when our tournaments become available.
