Spring Fling

Hockey is quickly turning into a year-round affair. What used to be the casual “off season” before a summer break, has now turned into a rat race, with family’s jockeying for positions at current, and even new clubs. The “need” to be on the spring AAA, Elite, or Select teams has created not only contention amongst families, but amongst children as well. There have been reports of disturbances and bullying that have made it to local new outlets.

We hope those who choose to participate in spring hockey find their team smoothly. Spring hockey can and should be a time where players can wind down from a long season with skill building, playing with new teammates, and finding a few new, cool places to play the game. We’re sure over the course of the season you’ve visited all the normal places. We here at Elite Amateur Sports are proud to offer tournaments in locations that aren’t saturated by the rest of the competition.

From the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the Soo to Muskegon, to one of our largest tournaments in Troy, Hockey Fights Cancer, we love to put on amazing events in wonderful places. Spring in the Metropolitan Detroit area is an amazing place to play great hockey for an even better cause. Teams and families come from across the country to compete in one of the largest boys hockey tournaments that is bigger than the game. We hope to see you there.
