Hockey Season is Coming

It is the end of August and its likely still scorching hot out there. With the holiday weekend just around the corner, it becomes the unofficial start of hockey season. Most states will begin their youth hockey seasons in some fashion starting in September, and we want you to be prepared. Hopefully, you have already had your player fitted with any new equipment, if not we warned you back in July.

Some teams have been chosen; others are about to be. No matter where you are in the selection process, it is always best to go into every season with an open mind. Some families may be ecstatic with their new team, others may feel a bit disappointed. There is no reason for alarm. In both scenarios, a player is only going to get out of a season, based on what they put in. For those who may have moved up a level, a player will likely have a difficult road working up the ladder in finding success at this new level. For other families, it may be a child learning how to be a leader and taking self-initiative to not only better his or herself, but some of their peers as well.

No matter what your situation is, we here at Elite Amateur Sports want to help provide you all with some great memories. We pride ourselves on two things, fair competition at a fair price. We boast some of the best Michigan youth hockey tournaments using this philosophy. Check out our website to see our full line up of tournaments, ranging from Kalamazoo to Sault Ste. Marie, and in many places in between. We can’t wait to see your new team this year!
